The Calgary Surge, members of the Canadian elite Basketball League, held a special game against the Montreal Alliance on Saturday June 20 at VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
The matchup was dubbed the ‘SURGE 2 LETHBRIDGE’ and marked the first time in 47 years that professional basketball was played in Lethbridge.
At the end of the high energy game, Calgary lost to Montreal 93-88.
It’s a battle of Alberta on July 1, when the surge travel to Edmonton to take on the stingers. Tip off set for 4pm
