2023 Esquao Award Recipients

The Esquao Awards Gala was held tonight at the Grey Eagle Events center to a packed house. Hundreds of people from all across Alberta came together to honour the amazing work these Indigenous women do in their communities. This years Esquao Award recipients include leaders in trades and technology, education, and business; teachers of traditional Indigenous culture and holistic health; and advocates seeking justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

The 2023 Esquao Awards Recipients are:
