The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children. Wearing this moose hide signifies your commitment to honor, respect, and protect the women and children in your life and to work together to end violence against women and children. A gathering and sharing circle to show support for the Moosehide campaign was organized by the Sober Crew Calgary with the help of certified trauma counsellor Theresa Snow, at the Lantern church in Calgary. CFWE’s Trent Agecoutay spoke with Theresa Snow and Robbie Daniels, one of the founders of the Sober Crew Calgary, about the importance of the Moose Hide Campaign and what inspired them to organize the event.
