The Tsuut’ina 50-year celebration and POWWOW held in Redwood Meadows will be be in full swing July 28 to July 30. Part of the celebration will include a slo-pitch, golf tournament, and rodeo.
One event that took taking place before the main events is the Youth Rodeo where approximately 100 youth ages 5-18 years took part in a variety of rodeo events from sheep riding, barrel racing and all the way to bull riding.

While on location, CJWE meet up with three Tsuut’ina Cowboys who shared what they like about the rodeo and how they keep their mothers from worrying too much.

The youth rodeo creates a supportive space for many youths as a way for them to gain confidence in their sport while having their community supporting them every step of the way.
The Tsuut’ina 50-year celebration will fully kick off July 28 with a wide range of events. The Youth Rodeo ended July 26 with many prizes given out to participants.
Tsuut’ina 50-year Celebration’s POWWOW and Rodeo will all be taking place across the road from the Redwood Meadows Golf course where the Tsuut’ina golf tournament will also be taking place.
