A popular road in Banff National Park is once again restricting vehicles to give cyclists the full run of the road.
The Bow Valley Parkway is set to be closed to public vehicles from September 1 to October 2.
This is part of a three-year Parks Canada cycling pilot project on the 17-kilometre stretch of mountain road.
The pilot program runs from 2022-2024.
As part of the pilot program, driving is also restricted on the roadway each spring.
Cyclists are encouraged to bring food, water and bear spray.
