After being part of 2011 Juno award winning Manitoba band Chic Gamine, Franco/Metis singer song writer Andrina Turenne will be one of four Indigenous talents preforming at the National Music Centre’s Andy Kim’s Christmas special.
Turenne recently released her 2023 solo debut album ‘Bold as Logs’ take listeners through the woods as each song is a memory of time spent at her family’s fishing lodge.
CJWE spoke with Turenne about preforming at the National Music Centre in Calgary Alberta for its two day Andy Kim Christmas concert.
