Environment Canada is calling for over twenty centimetres of snow over the weekend in the Lethbridge and surrounding areas.
In response to this, the City of Lethbridge announced they will be activating snow routes to ensure drivers safety.
Crews will be out on the roads starting Saturday March 23, at 4 p.m. which may cause delays on various roads and communities.
Residents along the snow routes may find extra snow piled up along their sidewalks creating hazards for pedestrians.
City officials are encouraging residents to help their neighbours clear snow and are asking all vehicles parked along the routes are moved so plows can remove the maximum amount of snow on the street.
For any questions or concerns about the snow removal process in your community, residents are encouraged to call the city at 311.
