There will be a test of the National Public Alerting System on May 8 @ 11:55 AM.
The Government of Canada will conduct this test in Alberta and other participating jurisdictions.
Regular testing of the alerting system is necessary to ensure we’re prepared to deliver life-saving instructions to Albertans during emergencies.
