It’s that time of year again, time to pay property taxes in the City of Calgary.
The City started has begun mailing out property tax bills for approximately 570,000 residential and non-residential properties.
Property tax bills are due Friday June 28.
The city says all residents should receive their tax bill in the mail by the end of next week.
Property owners who do not receive their tax bill in the mail by the first week of June should contact 311 for a statement of account.
The property tax deadline does not apply to property owners who pay monthly through The City’s Tax Instalment Payment Plan (TIPP).
A late payment penalty of seven per cent will be applied to any unpaid portion of property tax on July 1.
