Stampeders to hold Purolator tackle Hunger Drive Saturday

The Calgary Stampeders will be collecting donations for Calgary’s Food Bank at their home game on Saturday vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers as part of the Purolator Tackle Hunger Game Day Food Drive.

Fans can bring non-perishable food items monetary donations.  In exchange, fans can take a photo with the Grey Cup.

The Calgary Food Bank’s most needed items include Canned fruits, Canned vegetables, Cereal, Pasta sauce and/or canned tomatoes and diapers, especially size 6

In addition to CFL Game Day Food Drives and Red Bag campaigns, donations can be made online at pthdonations2024.com and at any Purolator Shipping Centre across Canada. Individuals can find a store near them by using the Purolator Locator tool on purolator.com.

The Calgary Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. As the city’s main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank they have the capacity to serve families, individuals and organizations to fight hunger. The organization feeds up to 700 households each day.

Saturday’s Kickoff at McMahon Stadium is set for 5pm.
