On Wednesday, July 17, a construction worker has died following an accident at the construction site of the McCain Foods expansion just east of Coaldale.
The deceased was an subcontractor of Fisher/Dawson Wallace Construction Ltd.
No further information will be provided by Coaldale RCMP and Fisher/Dawson Wallace Construction until investigations are complete.
McCain disclosed they are working closely with the contractor and local police to fully cooperate with the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
