Two people have been rushed to hospital after a two-vehicle crash in the Kananaskis area.
Stoney Nakoda RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 40 near Highway 1 at around 11 p.m. on Friday.
The collision involved a truck with one passenger and an SUV with three passengers.
RCMP says the driver of the truck and a passenger of the SUV were taken to the hospital for treatment. No update on their health is available at this time.
The preliminary investigation indicates the driver of the truck had crossed over in the southbound lane and struck the SUV.
Highway 40 was closed from 12:30 a.m. Saturday as police investigated, and reopened at around 8:30 a.m.
