Alberta and Saskatchewan RCMP have concluded a five-month long investigation into a series of break and enters leading to the arrest of Medicine Hat Resident Joshua Elliot Moose.
Between the Months of June and October of this year, Alberta RCMP responded to twelve reports of break and enters across the province at various Tim Horton’s including, Brooks, High River, Hanna, Vermilion, Rocky Mountain House, Rocky View County, Strathmore, Drayton Valley, Didsbury, Stettler, and two in Wetaskiwin.
These break and enters corresponded with five similar incidents at various Tim Horton’s in Saskatchewan leading RCMP of both provinces to work together.
Through the investigation, RCMP learned that Moose was in White City, SK. On Oct. 31, 2024, after committing a break and enter, Moose was arrested outside a hotel in White City, SK. A search warrant was executed on Moose’s hotel room, vehicle, and apartment in Medicine Hat, which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cash, tools, and firearms.
Moose has been charged with seven offences in Saskatchewan for break and enter to commit theft and possession of break in tools. 31 charges were laid in Alberta for break and enter to commit theft, possession of break in tools, and unsafe storage of a firearm.
Moose is scheduled to appear in the Saskatchewan Court of Justice in Regina on Nov. 6, 2024.
