Calgary to host 2026 Grey Cup game

The legendary Grey Cup is making its return to McMahon Stadium as the CFL has announced the 2026 Grey Cup will coming to Calgary.

According to Tourism Calgary, it is estimating that $50,000,000 dollars will be injected into Calgary which will affect all parts of the local economy for the 2026 Grey Cup festival.

It will also affect the City’s hospitality industry along with the economies of surrounding communities like Airdrie, Cochrane, and Tsuu’tina.

The week-long festival will feature LIVE music events at various venues and see the return of the Grey Cup Rodeo which will take place on the Stampede Grounds which hasn’t taken place since 2019.

2026 will mark the sixth time Calgary has hosted the Grey Cup as the city last hosted the weeklong festival back in 2019.
