The annual community Medicine Hat College Community job fair is around the corner giving students and members of the public to find their next forever job.
Currently, the annual fair has over 50 registered employers ranging from Police Services, local employers in Medicine Hat, and other agencies across Alberta.
Shelly Drefs, Career Services Assistant with MHC’s Career Centre says how the annual fair has impacted the community of Medicine Hat over the years.
As a lead up to the fair, staff at the MHC have been making resources available for its students be successful when approaching a potential employer.
Those who are wishing to attend the fair should come with an open mind as not all employers who attend the fair will accept a resume on the spot as they will be helping each potential applicant understand their company’s hiring process.
The annual fair will be taking place on the College’s main campus January 29 and will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with more information available on the College’s website.
