Airdrie signs $800,000 cheque to support affordable housing

The City of Airdrie’s Housing Accelerator Fund has contributed $800,000 to support the acquisition of over a half-acre of developable vacant land for affordable housing in Airdrie.  Affordable Housing team leader, Jessica DeVreeze, shares the importance of this need and how critical the acquisition of land is to the solution.

DeVreeze also shared how the housing crisis has peaked, becoming the worst in Airdrie’s history, making this funding all the more timely.
