After thirty years, The Confluence Historic Site and Parkland in Calgary has begun construction on its exhibits. These exhibits will tell the story of the area from a non-colonial lens.
The first phase is set to be completed by this spring and will feature a 900-square-foot exhibit designed like a Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) lodge.
The Confluence curator, Star Crop Eared Wolf shares what visitors can expect with the new exhibits.
