History was made this week as an official written agreement of collaboration, communication, and transparency was made between the Bearspaw First Nation, Chiniki First Nation, Goodstoney First Nation, the Stoney Tribal Administration and the Town of Cochrane.

This step forward in partnership will bring the surrounding communities closer together in reconciliation and make future opportunities easier for all.

Chief Darcy Dixon of Beaspaw First Nation, one of the four signatories, shares his hopes for the future:

Chief Dixon was joined by Chief Aaron Young, Chief Clifford Pouchette, and Mayor Jeff Genung.
