There is a critical mental health crisis facing Alberta’s farmers and rural residents.
One in four Albertan farmers feel like life isn’t worth living, a sobering new statistic reported by the government. Due to depopulation of rural areas, economic and international stresses, and decline of social community support, Albertans living on farms and in rural areas are facing a stark mental health crisis.
