Running over a year strong, the Neurodivergent Young Adults Peer Support Group, hosted by the Medicine Hat Autism Society, is now a thriving community of friends and a place to grow and learn.
Stephanie Williams, one of the founders and current Secretary-Treasurer of the Medicine Hat Autism Society, shares how the group has grown:
Williams also acts as a support person at the group, offering aid for participants in finding education and career resources.
The next meeting is this Saturday, April 19 at 11:00 AM in the Medicine Hat Public Library. All self-identifying neurodivergent individuals are welcome to stop by for a visit.
