City of Calgary report shows downtown becoming safer during revitalization

“Revitalization happens when community and vision come together.”

And the numbers show that revitalization of Calgary’s downtown core is well underway.  Since 2021, the City of Calgary has made strides to improve and update downtown, from educational buildings to new housing, from new recreational spaces and corporate spaces.  Nearly one thousand and five hundred homes are being built and transit ridership is reaching historic highs well above pre-pandemic levels.
