One man is facing charges after police say two fire trucks were stolen in southern Alberta.
RCMP responded to a commercial alarm near the firehall in Champion, a village south of Calgary, when an officer saw two fire trucks speeding down a road without their lights on.
Mounties tried to stop the trucks, but they kept going.
25 year old Jaeden Glabb of Peace River is charged with two counts of break and enter, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime, one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from a police officer, and three counts of breaching a release order.
Glabb, who was remanded into custody, was scheduled to appear in court Friday in Lethbridge.
RCMP say a second suspect has been identified but is still at large.
