The Medicine Hat Tigers are heading down Highway 3 to the VisitLethbridge.com arena for game three of the WHL Eastern Conference Finals against the Lethbridge Hurricanes Wednesday, April 30.
After a weekend doubleheader in Medicine Hat, the Tigers swept the Hurricanes in two high-scoring games for the Tigers with Saturday’s game seeing them get seven goals past the Cannes’ defence.
Currently, the Tigers are leading the series 2-0, with each game seeing the Hurricanes only getting two goals at CO-OP Place.
Game two also marked a major achievement for Tiger’s forward Gavin McKenna, who has achieved the highest goal streak in the WHL since the turn of the century.
McKenna currently has thirty-two goals, ninety assists in the past 51 games, giving him 129 points and the third highest scorer in the WHL.
Game three of the Eastern Conference Finals will be taking place in Lethbridge, with the puck dropping at 7 P.M.
