5 Million Granted to Okotoks from the Province for Infrastructure

Last year, the province of Alberta launched a local growth and sustainability grant, and Okotoks has been awarded a quarter of it.

Thanks to being awarded a significant amount of the grant, the Town of Okotoks will be able to move forward with major developments.  The Rivers Edge Project will be where the majority of the $5,071,448 of funding will be allocated, improving sanitary lines, roads, underground powerlines, and emergency flood mitigation.
