After each Rodeo, Chuchwagon and Relay Race at the Calgary Stampede, those who witness the physical talent are treated to some of the best musical entertainment that feels larger than life at the Grandstand.

This includes talent like Johnny Ried, Paul Brant, the Hunter Brothers, and now, for 202,5 spectators, will be treated to songs of Alberta Country artist and songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson.

Johnson has worked with Nashville stars like Chris Stapleton and Jo Dee Messina and has also achieved 17 Canadian Country Music Awards.

Along with Johnson will be various other special performances, such as Keith Sayers’ Freestyle Motocross performing high-speed jumps, Illya Strakhov’s precision-defying bottle balance act as seen on America’s Got Talent.

This year will also include The Gauchos of Fire, who received the golden buzzer on season 19 of America’s Got Talent, adding to the international flair many have come to expect at the Stampede.

The Calgary Stampede kicks off the Grand Stand Show on July 4, with the final show taking place on July 13.
