Great news for cyclists in Medicine Hat! Two-wheel commuters now have a safe and secure place to park their bikes, thanks to a new pilot project.
The city has set up four lockers at Towne Square, each with two slots for locking up a bike. These are easily rented using the Movatic mobile app for just $1 an hour or $5 a day. These CycleSafe lockers are built to combat theft, weather, and even fire.
The move comes to support different ways to get around. With more commuters choosing e-bikes and high-end bicycles, it’s a way to help give cyclists peace of mind in their day-to-day.
