This weekend welcomed the first new permanent exhibit at The Confluence in Calgary.
Curated by Star Crop Eared Wolf of the Kainai Nation, the new exhibit Kípaitápiiyssinnooni (ghee-BAHT-ah-BEE-see-noon), meaning Our Way of Life, invites visitors into a living Blackfoot environment with a wealth of new and old Blackfoot artifacts. Crop Eared Wolf shares how all of the elements were brought together to bring the exhibit to life:
Blackfoot is also the primary language throughout the exhibit, featuring English translations in written and video content.
Visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the new exhibit. To learn more, visit The Confluence’s website.
