This week is National AccessAbility Week, and the City of Calgary is inviting feedback from the community on how to make the community more accessible.

Kavin Sheikheldin, an advocate and individual living with disabilities, shares what she means when stating the City needs to do more for accessibility:

Ashley Wedderburn, the Manager of Community Well-Being Strategies at the City of Calgary, shared: “One in four Calgarians live with a disability and we really want to make sure that all Calgarians feel they belong in the city and that they’re able to access our community and our public spaces.”
