School is out for summer vacation, and everyone across Southern Alberta is looking for activities to do, especially families who want to create memories of their time together.

Last year, the Tosguna Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service organized a community scavenger hunt for residents and community members of the nation to have some fun with some healthy competition.

The hunt was a huge hit, concluding with the “Great Bannock Bake-off” at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino, where the first-place team was comprised of Officers from Tosguna.

With the Calgary Stampede approaching and members of Tsuut’ina making plans to attend the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, Tosguna will be hosting its 20th annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast on July 9.

CJWE spoke with Colin Budd of Tosguna to find out more about the Scavenger Hunt and Pancake Breakfast.
