On Friday, Aug. 29, High River, the Foothills and area (and of course all Albertans) are invited to celebrate 120 years of culture, innovation and community spirit as Alberta marks a major milestone with the Town of High River.
Alberta was established as a province on Sept. 1, 1905, through the Alberta Act and today Sept. 1 is known as Alberta Day.
This year, High River is making Alberta Day a family fun evening celebration concert.
The festivities kick off at 7pm in George Lane Memorial Park with a rising young local star and a very talented rockin’ country band.
