Megan Moroney won the first-ever country music award at the MTV VMA Awards on Sunday!
She was up against Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson and Jelly Roll for the fan-voted award.
The award went to Megan for her sit single, “Am I Okay?”
Megan was pulled to the side as she was walking to the red carpet when she was then given the exciting news and her award! She addressed fans saying, “Thank y’all so much for voting, thanks for all the support this year. I love y’all very very much. The ‘Am I Okay?’ tour is back next week, so I can’t wait to see y’all. Thank y’all so much, y’all are the best in the world.”
