As the Autumn colours begin to show in Calgary and the rest of southern Alberta, the deadline for both the 2026 Calgary Stampede Princess and First Nations Princess is soon approaching, which also means the current Stampede Princess duo will be passing the torch.

What makes the Calgary Stampede Princess and First Nations Princess programs unique is that the iconic duo work hand in hand to promote western heritage and First Nations communities.

CJWE met up with the 2025 Calgary Stampede First Nations Princess, Pacey Strangling Wolf, and 2025 Calgary Stampede Princess, Breanna Correa, to talk about their time as royalty and offer words of encouragement to those in the process of applying for the 2026 titles.

Applications for the First Nations Princess close on Tuesday, September 23, while applications for the Stampede Princess close on October 1.

Links and information about both Princess programs can be found on the Calgary Stampede’s official website.
