4th Annual Okimaw Awards to Honour Indigenous Men

The 4th Annual Okimaw Awards return to Edmonton’s City Hall on November 15, celebrating Indigenous men from across Alberta for their outstanding contributions in a variety of fields.

 

 

Janice Randhile, founder of the Okimaw Awards, shares with CJWE on her excitement for this year’s recipients, saying the event will bring an afternoon filled with joy and celebration.

 

 

Randhile adds that over the past 4 years, it’s been truly inspiring to see so many recipients honored and recognized fir their impactful contributions within their communities through the Okimaw Awards.

 

 

Randhile hopes this year’s recipients feel the strong support of their communities and the love everyone gathered inside City Hall.
