Skijor’Berta is coming back!
On February 7th and 8th, 2026, the High River Agricultural Grounds will host “The Canadians,” a high-adrenaline skijoring event where a skier gets pulled behind a horse through jumps, gates, and all kinds of obstacles.
High River is the only Canadian stop on the SkijorUSA circuit this year, so organizers are expecting riders, horses, and fans from across Alberta, B.C., and the U.S.
Organizer Casey Coutts says it’s a great chance to show off the region’s western culture, ranching roots, and mountain vibe.
Right now, Skijor’Berta is still looking for sponsors, vendors, and athletes.
Tickets are set to go on sale in the new year.
