Southern Alberta will soon be cooling off, following unseasonably warm weather.
According to Meteorologist Justin Shelley with Environment and Climate Change Canada, there is going to be a change in the weather this weekend.
That will shift will continue through the weekend and into next week.
Under this new weather pattern that is beginning next week, there will likely be some additional snowfall throughout the province.
By the middle of next week, Shelley says by mid next week, the daytime highs will likely be in the minus 5 range, with overnights low being closer to minus 15.
With that, Shelley says to be prepared for the return of winter, and make sure winter clothing is still available.
