RCMP Urges Drivers to Stay Alert as Winter Roads Transition to Spring

The Alberta RCMP warns drivers to take extra precautions as winter comes to an end. They report that poor road conditions have caused numerous accidents this season.

Corporal Troy Savinkoff, Public Information Officer with the Alberta RCMP, tells CJWE that every year they respond to approximately 200 to 250 fatal collisions.

As we transition into spring, Savinkoff emphasized that the most effective way to reduce fatalities is to limit impaired driving.
