The Foothills Ringette Association is hosting a free “Try Ringette Day” on Saturday, March 21, at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Centre from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Throughout the year, the association will offer five sessions for kids to learn more about the sport of ringette.
Karen Minchuk, the President of the association, tells CJWE that these sessions are designed to encourage more children to get involved in the sport.
Minchuk explained that each session will take place at a different arena around High River, and they ask that kids sign up before attending.
