The University of Lethbridge will host a gambling presentation on Thursday, March 26, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge. This presentation will be the final talk in the Public Professor Series organized by the University of Lethbridge Senate and will focus on the impacts of gambling.
Dr. Robert Williams, the research coordinator with the Alberta Gambling Research Institute and a professor in the university’s Faculty of Health Sciences, tells CJWE that he will discuss the gambling behaviors that affect players.
Dr. Williams also noted that online gambling has significantly increased in the past few years.
