Piikani Nation is hosting a protest and community learning event this weekend.
Piikani Nation has long-standing concerns about environmental issues, especially the degradation of its water resources.
According to the Nation, those concerns have been largely ignored.
Because of that, members of the Piikani Nation are hosting a protest and community learning event this Saturday (March 28) at 10 a.m.
This protest and learning event will be focused on issues related to land, water, and the rights and interests of the Nation, and they want their voices to be heard.
As part of this event, it will bring together community members, leadership, and supporters to help raise awareness, share information, and discuss the impacts of the current land and water-related issues that are affecting the Piikani Nation.
At the protest, there will be speakers, community perspectives, and local politicians have been invited.
