The Otipemisiwak Metis Government is set to host a career fair focused on first responder opportunities at The Confluence on April 18. Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will connect attendees with careers in policing, fire services and emergency response, while highlighting pathways for Metis citizens to enter these fields.
Nelson Lussier, Secretary of Justice for the Otipemisiwak Metis Government, tells CJWE the strong support and excitement surrounding the first-ever First Responders Career Fair, with numerous agencies attending to connect directly with citizens.
Lussier notes that a wide range pf recruiters will be on hand at the career fair, alongside sponsor Rupertsland Institute.
