On March 8, the First Nation of Chiniki First Nation and surrounding communities came out to the Good Stoney Rodeo Centre in the town of Mini Thni to celebrate the newly elected Chief and Council.
CJWE News Reporter Keith Driver was at the celebration and caught up with re-elected Chief Aaron Young.
The celebration had nation members of the Iyarthe (Stoney) Nakoda; Bearspaw, Goodstoney, and Chiniki First Nations gather to celebrate not just their leadership but, the hopes of what the feature holds for the Nations along the Rocky Mountains.
