On July 10, Piikani Nation RCMP received information of an ongoing drug trafficking taking place at a residence on 14 Street in the
Town of Brocket.
Once RCMP executed the drug search warrant they sized:
- Drug packaging
- Score sheets
- Multiple pre-loaded syringes
- 2 grams of suspected fentanyl
- 1.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine
- Various drug paraphernalia
RCMP have also arrested and charged a 30 year old female resident of Brocket with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of Item Used in the Trafficking of a Schedule – 1 Substance
- Fail to Comply with Probation
The 30 year old female was released on an Undertaking for court on Sept. 5, 2024 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Pincher Creek.
