Piikani RCMP shut down ongoing operation in Brocket

On July 10, Piikani Nation RCMP received information of an ongoing drug trafficking taking place at a residence on 14 Street in the

Town of Brocket.

Once RCMP executed the drug search warrant they sized:

  • Drug packaging
  • Score sheets
  • Multiple pre-loaded syringes
  • 2 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 1.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine
  • Various drug paraphernalia

RCMP have also arrested and charged a 30 year old female resident of Brocket with:

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession for the Purpose Trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Item Used in the Trafficking of a Schedule – 1 Substance
  • Fail to Comply with Probation

The 30 year old female was released on an Undertaking for court on Sept. 5, 2024 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Pincher Creek.
