Medicine Hat resident charged with drug and weapons offences in Redcliff

Redcliff RCMP were dispatched on Sept. 20th, to a suspicious vehicle parked on the front lawn of a residence in the 300 block of 4 Street SE, in Redcliff.

Police subsequently located the vehicle with a male passed out inside.  A subsequent investigation led the male being arrested and a search warrant being conducted on the vehicle.

As a result of the search, officers seized undisclosed amounts of Meth, Cocaine and Fentanyl. Police also seized was a .22 calibre pen gun and bear spray.

Justin Yuhas (35), a resident of Medicine Hat, has been charged with multiple offences including two counts of Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.

Yuhas was remanded into custody. His next court appearance is Sept. 23, 2024, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Medicine Hat.
