For the third time in franchise history the Flames have started their season with four consecutive wins which is something the team hasn’t done since the 2029/2010 NHL season.
The Flames brought the thunder to the Saddledome last night as they sent the Chicago Blackhawks packing 3-1.
What made the night successful was the effort put in by Goalie Dustin Wolf stopping 31 shots on net and the offensive determination from Matt Coronato getting two goals including one made on an empty net and Andrei Kuzmenko getting also achieving his first season goal of the season.
“I thought we were excellent!” Expressed Flames Head Coach Ryan Huska when asked about the impact made by the fourth line.
“All of them brough energy, they played the game the right way, they ended up on the score sheet twice in a close game. So, I thought for two nights in a row have given us great effort and some great games.”
The Flames will be blowing that heat down south as they take on the Kraken in Seattle this Saturday with the puck dropping at 8 p.m.
