Pow Wow Pitch is a non-profit organization supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs across Turtle Island, purpose-built to provide a safe, collaborative, empowering, and culturally supportive platform for inspiration, education, mentorship, celebration, and reconciliation through entrepreneurship.
The 2024 Pow Wow Pitch saw a wide variety of businesses seeking assistance for their big idea to uplift their communities with a grand prize of $25,000 dollars to help kickstart their business.
One of the pitches that made it to finals came from Night Owl Games under founder Kariza Manychief of the Kainai Nation whose education games teaching Blackfoot Language and culture.
