This Saturday, December 14th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the newest Christmas Market will be held at the Métis Centre in Calgary.
The event features eighteen vendors, all selling handmade or homemade items, showcasing a diverse range of artisans from Métis, Inuit, First Nations, and non-Indigenous backgrounds, all coming together in unity.
Lorelei Lanz, the elected President of the Métis Nation of Alberta Local Council 87, emphasizes that this market aims to support local talent:
The market will take place at 1539 43rd Street Southeast. There will be door prizes and ample free parking available.
