With cold temperatures hitting Southern Alberta many will be staying indoors as the temperatures hit the -20’s however, residents in the town of Okotoks are being encouraged to get out and find the best cup of hot chocolate in town.
Starting Feb. 5, the annual Okotoks Hot Chocolate Festival will have 14 local coffee shops and restaurants creating unique cups of choco for locals to try.
The annual event is organized by KT Events Event Coordinator and Owner Katie Fournell who talked with Nefew Keith about what locals can expect this year.
The festival will wrap up Feb. 15, anyone who is looking to see what businesses are taking part or where they can cast their ballot can do so by visiting the Festival’s website.
