Indigenous arts and culture are taking center stage in Cochrane this coming week starting Sunday, March 16.
This is part of the second annual Indigenous Art and Culture Week hosted by Wazin Ichinabi Ti House of Oneness Society whose mission is to provide educational programming and services that promote Truth & Reconciliation in Cochrane.
Last year, this was achieved through various workshops with partnerships with the local Nakoda Nations of Goodstoney, Chiniki, and Bearspaw along with other community organizations.
For 2025, the week of cultural celebration is back and bigger than ever.
Nephew Keith spoke with Wendy Patterson of Wazin Ichinabi Ti House of Oneness Society about what is taking place this week in the town of Cochrane.
