For the past four years, local Calgary activist Robbie Daniels has been bringing hope for those battling addictions in the foothills by walking from Mini Thni to the city and back within three days.
Each year, the walk would meet downtown in Olympic Plaza for drumming and speeches shared by those who have overcome addiction to bring hope to those who are currently or know someone battling addiction.
Daniels visited the CJWE studio and talked with Nefew Keith about the past three years and shared a little bit of what is being planned for the fourth and final year.
To make the walk possible, Daniels is asking for donations of funds, time, and other items to make the annual walk of hope possible.
More information can be found on CJWE’s event calendar.
