Telus Fibre scam in High River and area

The past week has seen some High River and area residents being approached by individuals impersonating Telus technicians, who then misinform residents that the installation of new Fibre internet lines will cost them, sometimes quoting up to $2,000.

Telus has confirmed that this is a scam, and fibre installs in the area will be free.

If you or someone you know encounters or has encountered these scams, please report them to the police.
